Singular means one thing. Plural means more than one or many things.
We form plurals of words by:
Adding `s` to words
EXAMPLES
book - books
pencil - pencils
ruler - rulers
spoon - spoons
Adding `es ` to words that end in o, x, ch, sh, s, etc
EXAMPLE
grass - grasses
bus - buses
box - boxes
church - churches
brush - brushes
Changing the spelling in the plural form
EXAMPLE
that - those
this - these
