Today, we are going to learn how to multiply numbers through addition. Multiplication is the number of times a particular number is being added. This is the sign of multiplication X. Another name for multiplication is times. That is the number of times a particular number is multiplied.


EXAMPLE

2+2+2+2+2+2 = 2 x 5 = 10
We are multiplying 2, five (5) times


3+3+3+3 = 3 x 4 = 12
We are multiplying 3, four (4) times


4+4+4+4+4 = 4 x 5 = 20
We are multiplying 4, five (5) times


5+5+5 = 5 x 3 = 15
We are multiplying 5, three (3) times
