Oxygen Extractor Anti-Fire Alarm System
|
In our homes and
society at large, security has become a major concern. Several alarm
systems have been designed to achieve an optimal level of security. This
project work Oxygen Extractor Anti-Fire Alarm System is a simulation,
based on tackling the problem of fire outbreak. It will talk about the
essence of this system to our homes and offices, how it works (the
concept of the system), it’s relevance to the society, different areas
where it can be applicable, the advantages of this system to the
existing one and also how it is being maintained to ensure security at a
certain level. This work proposes a simulation of oxygen extractor and
anti-fire alarm system using Visual Basic 6.0 programming language in
the design and development.
The Design The system software is designed to simulate the process of an anti-fire alarm system and oxygen extractor. In the case where the Anti-fire alarm is disabled and the simulation begins, as soon as the temperature gets to 700, the presence of excess oxygen causes the room to flame up. On the other hand where the Anti-fire alarm system is enabled and the simulation starts, there is a warning (beep) when the room temperature becomes 250. The smoke detector detects excess smoke in the room, causing the alarm to beep continuously. There is also a release of Nitroxide molecule through the dispenser. Also, before the release of the Nitroxide molecule takes place, oxygen is extracted from the room through the oxygen extractor.
